COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
This course introduces the fundamentals of statics and strength of materials and the principals of structure. It also provides a theoretical and scientific basis for understanding how various structural systems and structural materials work and withstand loading through qualitative methods and quantitative analysis.
THE TECHNOLOGY OF STRUCTURES

The following set of tutorial documentation investigates the mechanical behavior of structure through technological aspects tied to the actual strength of materials, which deals with the 'making' processes of how things are manufactured and how they are assembled into structural systems. Themes include Free Bodies, Raw/Refined, Deforming Matter, Sticks+ Stones, Invisible Forces, X-Factor, i<I, Corner Problem, Turning Point, and Bounding Box.
