One Shell of a Chair explores the function of the chair over time: with its past in the library and its future in nature. We explored creating "organic" shapes with different materials throughout summer, and over time, the project became an expression of things that were happening in our life at the time, while still representing "a future" of sorts.
This project is one of many collaborations with my partner in life and art, and a physical ode to one of the first few places where we came together. Shoutout to the libraries and the department of art for being a real one!
