This project investigates various aspects of emergency planning, as well as disaster management and preparedness, and how it connects to citizen resilience in the face of growing global climate crisis. I seek to explore and evaluate various methods of spatial design and research to build towards my interest in community-based knowledge production and resourcefulness as a tool of social equity. My aim is to document how different communities perceive and utilize emergency planning and disaster preparedness in their socio-political cultures while examining their collaborations with governmental organizations.
